About
A children’s calligraphy (shodō) class in Kanazawa, held at Gallery Kinoko. Children from around age 5 through middle school practice Japanese brush calligraphy at their own pace — regular script, fine writing, and letter forms — guided by instructor Kihou Kida. Beyond neat characters, the class nurtures focus, patience, and a calm mind. Brushes can be borrowed and paper and ink are provided, so visiting families can simply come and try.

1時間のレッスンをお願いしました。金沢駅から車で10分程のアクセスのいい場所でした。 先生は中国上海に語学と書道留学をされた経験があるベテランな先生です。明るく優しい先生のご指導で、子供が楽しくレッスンを受ける事ができました。楽しい！また行きたい！と言っていたので、また利用しようと思います。
楽しくレッスンできたようで良かったです！またご希望の場合いつでもご参加下さい。

先生が優しくて自信がつく！！
子どもは字が書くのが苦手なのですが、教室にたまたまうちの子だけで、他の人に見られてないという安心感の中、書くことができてとても満足そうでした。先生が褒め上手な上、優しく、子どもを相手に面白いやり取りもあったそうで、色んな話を聞くことができました！ 楽しかった！と自信満々に書いた字を見せてくれて大満足です。 なかなか自信満々な姿を見る事がなかったので先生がとても素敵なんだなと思いました。 是非またよろしくお願い致します。
