About
Shirusu Hitotoki Calligraphy School is a calligraphy studio in Kanazawa where children slow down, quiet the mind, and learn Japanese calligraphy (shodō). In the children’s classes, students practice brush calligraphy at their own pace — regular script, fine writing, and letter forms — building focus, posture, and beautiful handwriting. Beyond technique, the school nurtures a sense of personal growth: children write their own goals and mottoes, and take part in seasonal events and an annual exhibition. Families visiting or living in Japan are warmly welcome to try an authentic calligraphy experience.

1時間のレッスンをお願いしました。金沢駅から車で10分程のアクセスのいい場所でした。 先生は中国上海に語学と書道留学をされた経験があるベテランな先生です。明るく優しい先生のご指導で、子供が楽しくレッスンを受ける事ができました。楽しい！また行きたい！と言っていたので、また利用しようと思います。
楽しくレッスンできたようで良かったです！またご希望の場合いつでもご参加下さい。

先生が優しくて自信がつく！！
子どもは字が書くのが苦手なのですが、教室にたまたまうちの子だけで、他の人に見られてないという安心感の中、書くことができてとても満足そうでした。先生が褒め上手な上、優しく、子どもを相手に面白いやり取りもあったそうで、色んな話を聞くことができました！ 楽しかった！と自信満々に書いた字を見せてくれて大満足です。 なかなか自信満々な姿を見る事がなかったので先生がとても素敵なんだなと思いました。 是非またよろしくお願い致します。
書くことに自信がついたようでこちらも大変嬉しいです！お子様のペースで今後も続けてもらえると嬉しいです。
