About
A single 90-minute tinkering session at the Kichijoji studio, for ages 4 to 15. Children think with their hands: taking things apart, building, and moving between art, making and visual programming. There is no fixed result to copy — the work adapts to each child, so a four-year-old and a secondary-school student can be in the same room, each doing something real. On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month the studio runs one-off sessions like this one, and it will open the class for a single child. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday the regular class is running, so a visiting place depends on the children already enrolled — request the date and the studio will tell you. A one-off visit: no enrollment and no joining fee. Led in Japanese. Groups are small — three children per session.
Requirements
- On a first visit for a child under primary-school age, a parent waits in the waiting area rather than leaving. Once your child has settled in, drop-off is fine.
- From primary-school age, drop-off is fine from the first session.
- Either way, please stay in the Kichijoji area for the duration of the session, in case of an emergency.
