Day care — ages 3 to 6

A day at a small nursery in Machida for children of three and up, seven minutes' walk from Tamasakai station. After the morning circle the whole group heads out — the greenway, the local parks — and stays out until lunch. Lunch is cooked from Oisix ingredients. The afternoon is free play, a closing circle, and a snack before pickup at four. The group is deliberately small, so staff stay close to each child and read how that particular child likes to be approached. There is a movement program built on many years of coaching experience, and English and glimpses of other cultures come up naturally during the day. Day-to-day care is in Japanese, and one member of staff can help in English.

Activities

Morning circle, outdoor play on the greenway and in local parks, a lunch cooked from Oisix ingredients, free play, movement activities, and a closing circle before home time.
