About
An art hour in a bright studio surrounded by Kamakura’s greenery, where children make whatever they are drawn to — craft, drawing and painting, clay — from a programme that shifts with the season and with where each child is. Nobody grades the work. The studio’s whole idea is that being different from other people is a treasure, and that a child can only really let go somewhere they feel safe, with an adult beside them who is honestly curious about what they make. Materials are all included in the price. Tuesdays only: choose any one hour between 10:00 and 13:00 (¥3,000), or two hours (¥6,000). Up to three children. Please book at least three days ahead — the studio confirms each booking itself, and replies within a day.
